On most days, you won’t find a discerning lube user shouting from the rooftops about the magnificence of this very well-known brand of personal lubricants. But, could AstroGlide’s brand spanking new Diamond Silicone Gel formula be the gleaming diamond among their usual, “Dang, this is so sticky and runny,” rough?
When I first opened the box for Je T’aime All Natural lubricant, I was surprised by how fancy the bottle was. “Wow, Spicy Gear Girl, you’ve really hit the big time lube reviews!” I said to myself.
The first thing I noticed about WET Naturals Beautifully Bare was how cool it felt to the touch. When I looked on the back at the ingredients on the back of the 3.3oz flip-top bottle, it came as no surprise to me that aloe is one of the first ingredients listed.
WET sure makes some fabulous personal lubricants. While they’re better known for their flavored lubes, like WET Fun Flavors, their entry into the light lube category ain’t too shabby either.
Let me just start off by saying this: I would dribble this lube over strawberry shortcake. Or ice cream. Mmmm. Ice cream.
Seriously. Maybe this is just coming from a strawberry lover, but WET Naturals Sensual Strawberry tastes like heaven. You know I love WET’s other flavored lubes (most particularly their Fun Flavors) and you know I love the other two products in their Naturals Line (Beautifully Bare and Silky Supreme).
You know I love Pjur, but I’m not always a fan of water-based lubes. However, Pjur’s Aqua For Women still blew me out of the water.
Normally, I loudly and proudly tout the wonders of silicone-based lube and of Pjur brand products, in particular. But, I’m willing to admit when something isn’t working as it should. After trying Pjur BodyGlide Woman all I could say was, “How can a lube be so dry?”
I’ve been waiting ages to review this product because I love it. It’s silicone, it’s all natural, and it’s by WET. What’s not to love?
In a perfect world, all lubes would be glycerin and paraben-free. But that’s simply not an option. These potentially dangerous ingredients give lubes certain qualities that we really love. So, when a lube comes along that takes away these problematic ingredients, we have to ask ourselves two questions: “Is it just as good?” and, “Is it just as safe?”
